The EQASA consortium met on January 15-17, 2018 at UNIGE, Italy, to take part in the Second Training Workshop of the project. In this occasion, all European partners shared templates for self-evaluation while the Asian partners shared their experience regarding QA issues in Southern Asia.

More in detail, the training provided an insight into templates for self-evaluation reports at institutional/university and departmental/faculty level (examples from Greece, Spain, and Italy, according to the European Standards and Guidelines provided by ENQA), QA manuals and relevant processes (examples from the UK). The discussion focused on the differences of self-evaluation reports at institutional/faculty-programme of studies and module level. This provided the background for dialogue on the voluntary processes currently in place in India and the QA System currently developing in Nepal.

The training materials shared amongst the partners included:

  • Case study and QA manual – LMU
  • Templates of QA self-evaluation reports at university and faculty/department level – UoP
  • Quality Assurance processes in Italy
  • Institutional self-evaluation template – Spain

On the last day a template for the strategic planning of a QA Unit was presented and discussed among the partners.
